Grace Hye is opening up various attempts and possibilities in the world of art. The fusion of pure art and technology is opening new doors. Her digital art has been officially launched since 2021.
"Your Black Flowers" represents Grace Hye's third NFT art project, minted on the Stacks blockchain and secured by Bitcoin, following her earlier projects, "Entangled Flowers" and the "L.O.V.E. Collection," which were also minted on StacksArt. This project originated from a fruitful collaboration with the Mintery program by Stacks Foundation, where Grace was part of the inaugural cohort of creators.
Grace Hye intends to publish more comprehensive articles on Sigle Blog, delving into topics like the minting process and the roadmap for the "Your Black Flowers" NFT project.
"Black Flowers" is a physical art collection that Grace has been crafting in various sizes since January 2021. These pieces have been exhibited at her gallery and various art fairs in Paris, garnering positive feedback from both French and international collectors. People admire the overall composition and natural balance of her paintings, which evoke feelings of tranquility and ease, akin to flowers gracefully drifting on water.
The color scheme for this collection is black and white, carefully chosen to tap into the profound energy of achromatic colors, which complements the dandelions depicted in the artworks. Monochrome hues convey serenity and inner strength to viewers and communicate emotions, much like how flowers do. Dandelions, delicate yet resilient, symbolize growth and new adventures, mirroring the uncertain journey in the Metaverse world.
Grace Hye is in the process of transitioning from traditional art to the crypto NFT world, recognizing the potential for NFTs to gain widespread acceptance in the near future. She believes that Stacks and Bitcoin NFTs provide an ideal starting point for this transition.
The physical painting was burned, transforming it into NFT artworks. A video capturing the moment of burning the painting was also produced as an NFT. Subsequently, 50 edition works were created, showcasing the gradual blooming of flowers on a blank black canvas. These works were successfully minted and are currently available for collection on the secondary market.
